We started an architecture magazine in a pandemic lockdown, united by a belief in the power of storytelling and a love of great design.
Here celebrates New Zealand residential architecture and design, sitting at the centre of a unique ecosystem, connecting readers, advertisers and architects across multiple platforms.
Here shows off beautiful homes, talks about their design and how they came to be. The title is focussed on integrity of design, regardless of the budget.
It might be a little cabin in the bush on the west coast, or it might be a luxurious city house; it just needs to be beautiful, and it needs to be well-conceived.
More than anything, the magazine eschews the disposable and trend-driven in favour of thoughtful design-driven solutions that last. We like luxury and humility in equal measure.
The printed magazine sits at the centre of the brand. Nationally distributed to retailers including supermarkets, bookshops, and independent stores. It’s also sold via Instagram, online at thisishere.nz, and to our growing subscription base.
Here launched in June 2020, and was instantly adopted by a loyal readership of architects and home-owners. We are grateful to them all.
