Studio de design fondé en 2022 par Thomas Roger,
et basé à Mulhouse (Alsace).
Spécialisé dans le travail du bois, les objets sont réalisés à la main,
en employant diverses techniques traditionnelles de fabrication.
Les formes et collections sont dessinées en fonction de l’usage des objets,
des types de bois employés et des assemblages réalisés.
L’intention de ce projet est de construire un travail artisanal sensible,
valorisant notre rapport aux objets du quotidien, et promouvant un
design responsable.
« Most of the time I doubt. I try to understand what is inside me,
what is inside wood, and why I’m making object, why I’m searching art.
There is this fog when I have to decide, to make choices. Most of the time
I’m lost, I don’t know, I’m not sure. But then there is this spark. When the
object become something else. when this is not my choices, my control,
this is not me, this is new. I guess that is what I’m chasing, maybe that is
what we call functional art. »
